BRIGHTON HAPPENINGS

Hey Brighton community!
Here’s what we’re talking about this week:
End-of-summer bucket lists for everyone and Brighton lifestyles to consider.
KIDS BUCKET LIST ACTIVITY

Visit Carousel Acres before cold weather creeps in.
Carousel Acres is a petting farm that offers enough fun for the kids to make a day of it. Kangaroos, Sloths, Emus, Peacocks, and more mean excitement for the kids and a day where the parents don’t have to figure out entertainment.

5 ROAD TRIPS TO MAKE

With the colors changing soon, it’s the perfect time to take a road trip.
📍 Frankenmuth is ~1 hour: Family fun + the ultimate comfort-food stop.
📍 Holland is ~2.5 hours: Lake Michigan sunsets + the prettiest downtown
📍 Traverse City is ~3.5 hours: Beach day + cherry everything
📍 Mackinac Island is ~3.5 hours: No cars, all charm. Think bike rides, fudge, and a true “reset” weekend.
📍 Leelanau Peninsula (Suttons Bay + Leland) is ~4.5 hours: Wine country vibes without the flight. Elevated, relaxed, and worth the drive.

REAL ESTATE CORNER

If I told you there were multiple lifestyles in Brighton, would you believe me?
Here’s 3 ways to live in Brighton:
1. Downtown Living: walkability is key here. Restaurants, events, coffee shops- all outside your door.
2. Subdivision Life: large lots, quiet streets, and a little more room to spread out.
3. Acreage: larger pieces of land with privacy- think pole barns, pools, or custom homes.
