LOCAL DEVELOPMENTS

New library project coming to Brighton
The Southeast Michigan Rural Library Grant Program awarded the Brighton District Library $71,500 to conduct an environment review and feasibility analysis for contructing a trail and boardwalk. The overall goal is to connect the library to the Charles and Albert Parker Families Nature Preserve.

The Howell Theater Is Up For Sale
After 12 years at the helm, Tyler DePerro has decided to sell the Howell Theater. DePerro moved to Howell in 2014 to restore and reopen the historic theater, ultimately transforming it into a beloved community staple. Read more at the link below.
